Indonesia    CHRISTIAN KILLED IN FRESH ATTACKS BY MUSLIMS
Muslims attacked a Christian village on Kai Besar isle in Southeast Maluku district in eastern Indonesia, leaving one person dead and five others injured.
    Early on Monday morning, Muslims from five villages on neighboring isles arrived on Kai Besar isle by motorboat and attacked Christians there, according to a press release of the Communion of Protestant Churches in Indonesia.
    A Protestant church and 74 homes in Dangarat village were burned in the incident, read the statement. The incident was the latest in a series of sectarian clashes that have hit Maluku province since mid-January, claiming hundreds of lives.
