|Kosovo Crisis||MOTHER TERESA SUCCESSOR URGES PEACE THROUGH LOVE||
Mother Teresa's successor as superior of the Missionaries of Charity, Sister Nirmala, the congregation Mother Teresa founded, appealed for peace in Kosovo.
In a message to members of the congregation, she said: "War and violence are causing fear and hatred in people, loss of life, loss of peace."
The message recalled Mother Teresa's sayings that "works of love are works of peace" and that "we are all God's children, brothers and sisters to each other, created to love and to be loved."
She said: "As a means to peace, "let us repent, forgive one another, accept one another, and do to one another what we would like others to do to us."
