"Thank You very much", God!
A Catholic priest who often discards his collar for glittery one-piece suits believes he can worship God and also be a follower of Elvis.
Romanian-born Antonio Petrescu is probably the only Catholic priest who moonlights as an Elvis Presley impersonator.
But he has no qualms about his second job, saying he finds his spiritual inspiration in the late rock legend, as Reuters discovered.
"People ask me, 'How can you reconcile Elvis impersonations with your choice of professional work?'" Fr Petrescu said.
The all singing, all swivelling priest, who works in the tiny Italian town of Sorbo - which has a population of only 52 people - said he believes Elvis is an appropriate inspiration for Christian worship because he sang of "love in general."
The 34-year-old's website, is separated in two section, one for the priest, and another for the artist, and has entries which talk about Petrescu's "fiery voice" and a discography including the singles "Lovin' Arms" and "Reach out to Jesus."
"I feel my responsibility as a priest is to walk this Earth in love for Jesus Christ, a task in which I am inspired by Elvis's search for spirituality in his own life."
