Churches called to speak out for Indigenous victims
The Archdiocese of Adelaide has called on religious groups to do more to help Indigenous communities affected by violence and abuse.
Chancellor Jane Swift told the ABC that churches need to speak out on behalf of the victims.
"In the context of human suffering, and the attempts that we make as a community and churches to address that, in a sense we've never done enough," she said.
"I think we have to be continually seeking for ways to both extend charity but also to look at changes to social systems."
