Stopping the clergy haemorrhage


Catholics know that they are in dire straights with today's shortage of clergy. What most do not realise is that this is just the lead up to a haemorrhage, which will occur during the next 20 years. But raiding poor countries for priests isn't the answer. They need their priests themselves. A possible solution can be found in the examples of Saints Peter and Paul who renegotiated some of the most sacred Jewish laws in order to expand their mission - Fr Eric Hodgens
