Fighting the good fight, Brennans make it a double act


Gerard Brennan reckons there would have been something amiss if his son Frank did not have a bent for social justice. The man once tagged "a meddling priest" by Paul Keating was yesterday awarded an honorary doctorate of laws at the University of NSW, with his father - the former Chief Justice of the High Court - due to receive the same honour next Friday. Fr Frank, 51, said his greatest source of pride was working on Aboriginal rights.
