Christian Brother re-elected ACU Chancellor


Br Julian McDonald CFC AO has been elected Chancellor of the Australian Catholic University for a further five year term, and Mr Ted Exell AM, an official of the Archdiocese of Melbourne, has been elected to the office of Pro-Chancellor for the same period.

CLICK HEREA statement from ACU National says the election closed last Monday. The appointments are effective from 5 November.

"This result, which is highly relevant to the future of the University, is a great outcome for the institution," said ACU National Vice-Chancellor, Professor Peter Sheehan AO. "I am immensely grateful for the obvious commitment of both Brother Julian and Mr Exell to our University, and wish them both the very best for their continuing work for our welfare in the times ahead."

ACU National, established as Australia's only Catholic, national, publicly funded university, is open to all.
