CEO head praises Catholic teachers
The Executive Director of Schools in Sydney is effusive in his praise of Catholic teachers in this week's Catholic Weekly.
Br Kelvin Canavan (pictured) says the salary increase awarded by the NSW Industrial Relations Commission recently recognises the increased demands made on teachers in Catholic schools.
The Catholic Weekly reports Br Kelvin praising Catholic teachers with these words:
"I am acutely aware and most appreciative of the continued response of Catholic school teachers, co-ordinators, assistant principals and principals to the increasing demands and challenges of our profession as we strive to provide quality teaching, learning and optimum outcomes for every student."
