Artist's own work brings him closer to God
In September 2000, artist David Rastas was robbed at gunpoint by a stranger whom he had trusted implicitly. He overcame his sense of paralysis through his own art work, a stained glass installation titled My Refuge and My Strength. He has since become a much more spiritual person, with a closer relationship with God and a new sense of purpose.
