Will you rise at 4.00am tomorrow morning to pray for peace?

Members of Pax Christi at Fremont in California are rising at 4.00am tomorrow morning to pray for peace. According to a report in the Fremont Argus they say, "With threat of war looming and international unrest in other parts of the world, there is much to pray about this year." The 4.00am rise time actually occurs to coincide with 12 noon GMT. Perhaps we might all set aside some time on New Year's Day to pray for peace. As our own small gesture towards the international solidarity that is needed for this International Day of Peace, CathNews invites you to visit our discussion board, http://www.cathnews.com/discuss, at some point during the day and leave your own prayer for peace or expression of solidarity with all those others who will have peace on their minds tomorrow.
