6,000 people copy out Bible in 16 minutes
A group of 6,000 students claim to have copied out the Bible in the fastest time ever.
The students, attending a religious conference in Picarquin, Chile, wrote down the bible in just over 16 minutes.
They hope it will win them a place in the Guinness Book of World Records.
Conference spokesperson Joao Vicente Pereyra says the event "helped the young people grow spiritually and encouraged them to take part in healthy activities."
He says the students hoped to do even better next year, when they would use only Spanish speakers.
Two Brazilian people had slowed things down because their grasp of the language was not perfect, he told newspaper La Cuarta.
