Pax Christi International calls for end of bombing of Afghanistan
The Catholic peace group Pax Christi International called for an end to the US-led bombing of Afghanistan.
In letters addressed to US President George W. Bush and British Prime Minister Tony Blair, Pax Christi said the allies should bring the terrorists to justice through established international law.
The letters were sent on Sunday, after Pax Christi's international council meeting in Mainz, Germany. They were signed by Latin Patriarch Michel Sabbah of Jerusalem, president of Pax Christi International, on behalf of all the members of the organisation's international council.
