French bishop pleads: Don't marry in June
Bishop Michel Dubost of d'Evry, France, has asked Catholic couples to avoid marriage dates in June.
Catholic World News reports that he cited as the reason crowded schedules that face priests during that month.
Bishop Dubost said: "There are too many marriages in June."
The crowded schedule caused by a traditional desire for a June wedding takes a toll, he said, because "priests are not machines."
