Adelaide school prays for students struck by a truck
Loreto College is seeking prayers for three of its students who were hit by a truck.
Two of the three girls are in a critical condition in hospital after being struck by a light truck in Adelaide's east.
A police spokesman said the girls, aged 13, 15 and 16, were struck as they crossed a busy intersection on Portrush Road at the end of the school day on Wednesday.
Loreto College principal Cheryl Hamilton said the college had asked its students, parents and the wider community for prayer and support for the three girls.
Mrs Hamilton said all students at the school were informed of the accident today.
Police said major crash investigators were still making inquiries and at this stage it was not known if charges would be laid.
