Bishop Brennan remains 'critical'
Bishop William Brennan of Wagga Wagga remains in a critical but stable condition in a Sydney hospital a month after collapsing during Mass.
Bishop Brennan was principal celebrant at a Mass during a meeting of Australia's Catholic bishops in Sydney when he collapsed with a brain aneurism as he stood to begin Mass.
He was treated by a doctor in the congregation and taken to the Prince of Wales Hospital, where he remains in intensive care. He has been visited by Bishops Conference Chairman Archbishop Francis Carroll.
