Brisbane hospital moves to focus on preventative health care
Investment advisor and author Noel Whittaker officially opened a one-stop preventative health initiative at Brisbane's Mater Hospital last week.
The Catholic Leader reports that the Mater Private Health Assessment Centre offers an innovative top-to-toe annual checkup, as well as a range of screening services.
Centre manager Paul Snowden said the pressures of the fast-paced modern workplace can damage a person's health and often leave little time for positive health maintenance activities.
He said: "By arranging preventative health assessments for key staff, businesses can make a dramatic, low-cost high-impact contribution to their company's well-being."
