Frogmen celebrate Jubilee at Vatican
Hundreds of pilgrim frogmen crossed the Holy Door of St Peter's Basilica in the Vatican earlier this week.
They were celebrating their special Jubilee, which included a meeting with Pope John Paul II, during which the Holy Father blessed a statue of Christ of the Depths, which will be submerged in the waters off Giglio Island, located near the Tuscany coast.
The Holy Father suggested that, with the above gesture, the frogmen remember the constant presence of the Redeemer, and 'the fallen of your intrepid profession'.
