Vatican     LEGIONNAIRE'S BUG KILLS BRITISH PRIESTS IN ROME REUNION
Two priests from northern England died after contracting Legionnaire's disease during a reunion at their old college in Rome as part of Holy Year.
Canon Harold Parker, 73, and Fr Tony Foulkes, 71, were among a party of 20 who took part in the 17-day trip to the English College. Both had been ordained there before serving as Catholic priests in England.
An official with the Italian public health authority said experts had isolated a Legionella bacteria within the college's water system.
Fr Foulkes and other members of the group attended a regular Papal audience in the Vatican three days before returning to England.
