South Australia    CHRIST ON FENCE IN CARAVAN PARK
The seaside town of Port Germein in the mid-north of South Australia is receiving a boost in visitors following claims that an image of Jesus Christ has appeared in the town's caravan park.
Port Germein resident, Shelley Brooks, who first discovered the image, says at night a street light throws a shadow on a tree branch, producing an image of Jesus Christ with a crown of thorns, on the park's fence.
She says the image has appeared every night for several months, and even on windy nights the branch which produces the shadow remains still.
Ms Brooks says it was a shock to see the image. "I was sitting outside on the verandah, having a cup of tea at about 1:30 am and I looked over my husband's shoulder and said 'Jesus Christ'. My husband said 'what is wrong now', and I said 'Jesus Christ'."
