DR Congo    GOVERNMENT CLOSES CATHOLIC RADIO STATION
The Congolese Communications Minister has ordered the Catholic radio station in the capital Kinshasa to cease operations immediately.
    The instruction came from the Minister, Sakombi Inongi, and included another nine radio and television government owned by commercial and non-government bodies.
    The Rome-based MISNA news agency said the closed stations stood accused of violating the law, but underlined the face that they were decidedly more popular than the government stations.
