The Congolese Communications Minister has ordered the Catholic radio station in the capital Kinshasa to cease operations immediately.|
The instruction came from the Minister, Sakombi Inongi, and included another nine radio and television government owned by commercial and non-government bodies.
The Rome-based MISNA news agency said the closed stations stood accused of violating the law, but underlined the face that they were decidedly more popular than the government stations.
