Armchair worshippers will soon be able to attend mass without going to church, thanks to an Australian website.
St Francis church in Melbourne will provide a choice of eight angles for online worshippers to choose with the help of cameras positioned throughout the building.
Catholic Telecommunications Director Fr Michael Kelly said it will offer a number of other services, including counselling, education and allowing people to e-mail priests.
"This is about making a place for the Catholic church in cyberspace," he said.
The church is hoping to connect with St Patrick's in Sydney and aims to have 100,000 members within two years, the Australian Advertiser reports.
