Austria    PRIESTS SPEAK AGAINST THEIR COUNTRY'S ISOLATION
Catholic priests from Austria have spoken against their country's current isolation and urged clergy in other countries to discourage 'unfair treatment' of Austrian citizens abroad.
"Boycotting a country which is guilty of nothing contradicts the Christian attitude," said the appeal from the working committee of Austrian Priests Councils, which represents 3000 Catholic priests from nine dioceses.
"Thanks to the sanctions against the Austrian government, school pupils are being subjected to Nazi salutes in Strasbourg and Brussels, while philharmonic orchestra members are being threatened with death by bombs."
