Vatican     POPE TO GIVE ROME CHURCH TO RUSSIAN ORTHODOX
As part of the Vatican's Jubilee celebrations, Pope John Paul II plans to give a church in Rome to the Russian Patriarchy.
The church, built in the 17th century, is dedicated to St. Basil and is located in the heart of Rome.
The magazine Católicos reports that once restoration is finished, the church will be handed to the Russian Patriarch as a sign of goodwill and reconciliation between the two Churches.
