Africa    KING OF LESOTHO BREAKS TRADITION TO EMBRACE MONOGAMY
The Catholic King of Lesotho has announced his marriage, and surprised his people by saying that he will have only one wife.
Letsie III has decided to break with the tradition of a monarch surrounded by women. At 35, he will marry Karabo Morsoeneg, a 23-year-old student whose beauty everyone acclaims.
The decision, which is difficult for Lesotho's men to understand, is explained by the fact that the King is a Catholic. He has asked Archbishop Bernard Mohlalisi of the capital Maseru, to officiate at his wedding.
